Terms of Use
These terms apply to your use of StoryPic: Photo Stories (“StoryPic”, “the app”), provided by BoMoSi. By downloading or using the app you agree to them. The app is licensed to you under the End User License Agreement, which forms part of these terms; if the two differ, the End User License Agreement applies to the licence itself.
Using StoryPic
- StoryPic helps you arrange photographs, record stories about them and create video albums for yourself and the people you share them with.
- The albums, recordings and films you make are yours. BoMoSi claims no ownership of them and does not receive them.
- You are responsible for what you record and share. Please record people only with their knowledge and agreement, use photographs you have the right to use, and follow the law where you live.
- Do not use the app to harass, deceive or harm anyone, or to break the law or anyone's rights.
StoryPic Pro
- The free version includes one album of up to five memories and the Classic Story film style. StoryPic Pro is an optional one-time purchase that unlocks the additional features described in the app. It is not a subscription and does not renew.
- Purchases are processed by Apple. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; if Apple refunds or revokes a purchase, Pro features turn off but your albums and recordings are not deleted.
- You can restore a previous purchase with “Restore Purchases” in the app, using the same Apple Account.
Your data and backups
Your albums are stored on your device. You are responsible for keeping copies of anything you cannot afford to lose: if you remove the app, lose your device, or the storage fails, your albums may be lost unless you have made a backup file or an Apple device backup. The app's backup feature creates a file you control.
Availability and changes
We work to keep StoryPic reliable, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”. Features that depend on your device — such as the camera, microphone, automatic subtitles, or the iPhone Duo's second screen — may vary or be unavailable on some devices or software versions. We may update, change or discontinue features, and we may update these terms; continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the changed terms.
Disclaimer and limits of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BoMoSi does not give any warranty about the app other than those that cannot be excluded, and is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have by law that cannot be limited, including consumer rights where you live.
Apple
These terms are between you and BoMoSi, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app, and, as set out in Apple's agreement, Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them against you.
