These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of FileTurn (“the App”, “we”, “us”).
By using the App you agree to these Terms, the End User License Agreement (EULA), and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The service
FileTurn helps you convert and prepare documents and images on your phone. You pick a file, choose a supported action, and receive a result you can open, save, or share.
Processing is performed online. When you start a job, file data is uploaded over an encrypted connection to a conversion service and the result is sent back to your device. An internet connection is required.
Supported formats and features may change. The App shows what is available for your file. File size limits apply (as shown in the App).
2. Free and Pro
2.1 Free
Without a subscription you can convert between supported formats, extract text, resize images, and save, share, or open results, subject to these Terms and technical limits. The free App may show ads.
2.2 FileTurn Pro
An optional auto-renewing subscription unlocks additional tools such as merge, split, password protect, extract images, create ZIP, page selection, and advanced options. Pro also removes ads. Monthly and yearly plans unlock the same Pro feature set. Details and prices are shown in the App and by Apple or Google at purchase.

Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Cancel in your store account; Pro remains available until the paid period ends. Expiry does not delete files you already saved.
Restore Purchases reconnects an existing store entitlement. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
3. Your responsibilities
- Provide only files you have the right to process.
- Do not upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
- Do not disrupt, reverse engineer (except where such limits are unlawful), or circumvent limits or Pro gating.
- Keep your device and store account secure.
- Review outputs before relying on them for important decisions.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of your files. You grant us and our conversion processor permission to transmit and process your files solely to provide the features you request. We do not claim ownership of your documents or images.
Temporary results may be cleared when you start another job. Files you save remain on your device until you delete them.
5. Third-party services
The App relies on Apple or Google for distribution and billing, an online conversion service for processing, and (in the free App) Google AdMob for ads. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their services. We are not responsible for outages or changes outside our reasonable control.
6. Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, formats, or the App. We may update these Terms; the “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms, except where law requires otherwise.
7. Disclaimers
THE APP AND CONVERSION SERVICE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect conversion fidelity, or that every requested format pair will succeed.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR SUPPLIERS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF DATA OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE APP IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) FEES YOU PAID FOR FILETURN PRO IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD 10.
Some places do not allow certain limits; in those places our liability is limited to the minimum allowed by law.
9. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your files, your misuse of the App, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law, to the extent permitted where you live.
10. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms or create risk to the service or others. Provisions that should survive (including disclaimers and limitations) will survive.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by applicable law, including mandatory consumer protections where you live. Nothing here limits rights you cannot waive under those protections.
